Environmentalists do not like the U.S. Forest Service's recent decision to complete the G-O Road. The SMRC believes that construction of the road will have negative impacts on the environment, including salmon spawning grounds in the Blue Creek Watershed, as well as affect Native religious sites in the area like Chimney Rock and Doctor Rock.
