Title

Record of Decision Chimney Rock Section of the Gasquet Orleans Road

Description

In 1963 the USFS originally conceived and planned the entire 55 mile project of the Gasquet Orleans road. It was designed to be double-lane, asphalt surfaced, with a design speed of 25 mph, costing 195 million dollars. This is the record of decision the chief forester had prepared in 1982 to reroute the remaining 6 miles being that there was no plausible location for the USFS planned completion.
