This news article describes the importance of protecting sacred sites in the Six Rivers National Forest as well as the 40 other sacred sites in jeopardy across the nation. Under the guise of U.S. Forest Service land management sacred sites are being adversely affected which is characterized as religious persecution. The federal government and corporate America is destroying sacred sites with telescopes, roads, oil, gas, and continued energy exploitation are a direct threat to Indian spirituality.
