Title
U.S. Supreme Court To Hear Arguments In Controversial GO Road Case Tomorrow.
Description
The U.S. Supreme Court will hear the first ever American Indian Religious Freedom case even though three lower courts have ruled in favor of American Indian rights. The lower courts agreed that the construction of the Gasquet Orleans Road would infringe on the First Amendment Guarantee of Religious Freedom and that the environmental qualities of the region were fundamental to the exercise and quality of the religious experience.
