G.O. Road Conspiracy Charged

Title
G.O. Road Conspiracy Charged
Description
This article describes the devastation that will proceed if the U.S.D.A Forest Service is allowed to continue the construction of the Gasquet Orleans Road. The road transverses the sacred areas of the High Country impacting local tribes and threatening their Guarantee of Religious Freedom.
The High Country is also the head waters of Blue Creek, one of the most important spawning habitats for anadromous fish in the Klamath watershed. The construction of the GO Road will open up the road-less area for timber harvesting and other resource extracting activities which will impact many acres of wildlife habitat.

Abstract
Siskiyou Mountain Resource Council said, "Calling the GO Road a scenic drive is clearly a facade to cover the bureaucracy's intent to facilitate logging and calling their action road reconstruction is equally false."
