Abstract

"I personally believe that the Miller Report is in default for several reasons. First of all, he dismisses the value of archaeological examination on the basis that material excavation did not yield tangible evidence.....
Secondly, I believe that the Miller Report lacks competency because it is replete with faulty analogy, stereotyping, serious misconceptions, and contradictions. Thirdly, Miller refuses to consider valuable contemporary knowledge and input on the contention that such sources would be unreliable...." Miller tries to disparage the integrity of Native religion by suggesting that traditional ideology is in an acculturative state and therefore ignores modern evidence which may provide a contrary perspective."
