Abstract

Marilyn Miles said, "Indians are happy the GO Road has been stopped but wish the battle had been won on the issue of Religious Freedom, not a few lines inserted on a piece of environmental legislation."
"I think people would rather have had it that way" Miles said. "It would have allowed Indian people to know that their religious rights get the same protection that other members of our society do."
