"I believe that the Forest Service has choose to forgo the protection of certain values (watershed-fisheries-wildlife-science-recreation-botanical-cultural), in pursuit of the dollars to be gained by logging this area. I believe that the greatest good for the most people can only be realized from this area, by protecting the area from intensive development. I also believe that intensive development or the Blue Creek Planning Unit is contrary letter and spirit of the Multiple Use and Sustained Yield Act 1960."
